At our architecture firm, we specialize in designing commercial spaces that look great and work even better, helping to refresh the Tampa Bay Area. From vibrant bars and restaurants to unique retail shops and creative office spaces, we aim to bring a modern touch that inspires and functions smoothly.

But we don’t stop there—we’re open to all kinds of projects! Whether it’s residential, industrial, or something totally out of the box, we love taking on creative challenges. With experience across a wide range of project types, we’re confident in our ability to bring fresh ideas and smart solutions to any space.

Our clients are at the center of everything we do. We believe in open communication and quick responses, building strong relationships based on trust and reliability. By staying accessible and involved throughout every project, we make sure each client’s vision comes to life just the way they imagined.

We also know that teamwork makes the dream work—especially with general contractors. We focus on building strong, respectful partnerships where clear communication keeps everything on track. By working closely with contractors, we turn our design ideas into commercial spaces that not only meet but exceed expectations.

About

The Architect

Hi, I’m Ellie, an architect who loves modern design and finding creative solutions. I grew up in Italy, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia. After that, I crossed the ocean to complete my Master’s at the University of Florida’s CityLab in Sarasota.

I kicked off my career in Sarasota, focusing on high-end single-family homes. This taught me the importance of quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Later, I moved to St. Petersburg, where I worked on large apartment complexes and multi-building projects, gaining valuable experience in multifamily residential design and project management.

As my career grew, I branched out into hospitality and small commercial projects, including new hotels, restaurant and bar renovations, and tenant improvements. This allowed me to expand my design skills and work with a variety of clients.

Most recently, I had the chance to design cutting-edge fire stations, which gave me insight into specialized building requirements and innovative design approaches.

In early 2024, I made a long-time dream come true by starting my own architecture firm in Tampa Bay. With my international background and diverse project experience, I’m excited to bring fresh ideas and a unique perspective to every project I take on!

Why “Fiamma”?

“I chose the name ‘Fiamma,’ which means ‘flame’ in Italian, to reflect my Italian heritage. It also connects to my name, Elena, which comes from the Greek word for ‘shining light’ or ‘torch’.

Fiamma Design Studio represents the creative passion that fuels my work, combining cultural pride, personal identity, and professional dedication into a meaningful name for my practice.”
